Which one shall we take?

Club OutingUpdated 20 June

The club is organizing a coach outing to the Cosford LMA show on Sunday 19 July. This is a fantastic show, and even if the weather is not so good, there is the RAF Museum to take in. See the LMA web site notice

The cost is now fixed at £25 per head including admission to the show.

There are still a few seats available - Contact Steve Lindley to make a booking - See keyholders listing for contact details.

This outing is not restricted to AACC MAC club members. We have booked a 50-odd seater coach equipped with air conditioning, a loo and DVD player. Children under 16 (who must of course be accompanied), will be half-price.

The main pickup point will be in central Andover outside the Lloyds-TSB "Keenes House" with parking in the Council run car park adjacent to Asda. Departure from Andover will be at 08:00 am with the aim of arriving at Cosford at 10:00 am. The return trip leaving at 5:00 pm with heavier traffic is likely to take a little longer.

The coach has been hired from Clegg and Brooking in Middle Wallop and there may be a few parking places available at the Officers' Mess for those that wish to join the coach at C&B's premises at 07:30. However, this is only possible for holders of security passes, and is also subject to prior authorisation. Please contact Stephen Murray-Twinn with your vehicle details if you wish make arrangements. There is no parking available at C&B.

Those coming from the South through Romsey & Stockbridge should simply carry straight on at Stockbridge instead of turning left to Middle Wallop. If coming up the A34, you will join the A303 and then take the A3057 (SP Stockbridge), and at the end of the slip road, turn left over the A303 towards central andover. If you are coming from Stockbridge, you are already on the A3057. After crossing the A303, left at the first roundabout. Left at the second roundabout. Car park on your left, Keenes House on the right. I shall be publishing a map of the route and pickup point in early July.

Please contact Steve Lindley. if you wish to reserve a seat or seats. We currently have 31 committments, so they are going quickly. Make sure you commit in time (See keyholders listing for Steve's phone numbers).
