The skittles evening is booked at the "Eagle", Abbotts Ann. Peter Dyke is organizing the evening and you should let hiim have your bookings as soon as possible. You can contact Pete by email, or through the bulletin board events forum.
A new forum "Private Club Notices" has been added to the Bulletin Board. This forum is only visible and usable by logged-in registered users. If you haven't yet registered, access the Bulletin Board and click on the link "Register" in the top right. You can then enter and submit your details. Please choose a use name which enables the administrator (Steve) to recognise you as he will have to authorise your registration before you are able to log in.
If you are already registered, but have forgotten your login details, contact Steve Lindley.
This new forum will allow any member to post messages and attachments that should not be viewed by the world at large.

Shortly after takeoff, Brian's SU-31 rolled and nosed into the ground at full power. Brian seen here retrieving the motor and cowling from the hole in the ground with brother Keith looking on.
From the pits we had seen the plume of smoke as the damaged LiPo caught fire.

It's fairly certain that if the crash hadn't thrown the battery clear, it would have set fire to the structure. We could smell it from the pits.

Sadly, after a single engine failure, Derek was unable to retain full control and the Catalina "landed" on a wing tip. Seen here being carried back by Adrian with Roy looking on.

Derrick`s `new` Catalina at the field on Sunday 31st Jan. Fitted with 2 x 61`s, it flew very well.
If he had only fitted wings to the launching dolly, that would have flown quite well too!!

Here are a couple of pictures grabbed from some video I took over the last fue days. The images are "grabbed from video” so the quality is poor but you get the idea. In this one you can see Andover in the distance.
