I received an e-mail today (copied below) from a member of the Aldershot club who lost a model at the SAM1066 event in February. If anybody has any information or has seen the model could they please contact Mike (e-mail address below). A £50 reward is being offered.

Dear Richard
at the SAM 1066 meeting last Feb.7th; my 30" Simplex model strayed over the
camp and came down apparently on or near hangar5, and has not yet been
recovered despite my and Peter Carter's (Aldershot Model Club President)best
efforts.
Could I ask you and your members if anyone has any information as to its
whereabouts?
I am offering a £50 reward. Please see attached picture showing the
engine.(The most valuable bit!)

I have spoken to the Fire Station and with a friend in hangar 5 and also with the security guards. There are quite a few people at M W on the look out now. Fingers crossed. Ken
